Executive Director, Seguin Economic Development Corporation

Josh Schneuker has served as the Executive Director for the Seguin Economic Development Corporation since October 2016. In his role, Mr. Schneuker markets the City of Seguin as a premier destination for business and industry to locate and expand. Mr. Schneuker also manages the Seguin Economic Development Corporation’s Business Retention and Expansion Program; a coordinated and concerted effort among the community’s economic development partners to keep employers in key industry clusters engaged and successfully operating in Seguin.

Mr. Schneuker has over 6 years of economic development experience with three rapidly growing Texas municipalities; Schertz, Cibolo and now Seguin. Before being named Executive Director of the Seguin Economic Development Corporation, Mr. Schneuker began his tenure with the Seguin EDC in September 2015 as the Assistant Director of Economic Development.

Mr. Schneuker received his Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Texas at San Antonio and recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute. Mr. Schneuker is now working towards professional certification in economic development.

Mr. Schneuker is a member of many professional organizations including the Texas Economic Development Council, International Council of Shopping Centers, Business Retention and Expansion International, and the International Economic Development Council. He is an active participant in numerous Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce committees, the Alamo Academies Board of Directors, the UTSA Small Business Development Center Advisory Board, and the Central Texas Technology Center Advisory Board.
