Volunteer Opportunity: Usher for Mid Texas Symphony Concert This Sunday!
Hi everyone,
We have an exciting opportunity to support the Mid Texas Symphony this Sunday, April 27, 2025, by volunteering as ushers for their upcoming concert. The performance begins at 4:00 PM at Jackson Theater and promises to be a spectacular event, featuring approximately 76 musicians and a 100-member choir before a near-sold-out audience of about 1,000 people.
With such a large audience, MTS anticipates higher traffic and are looking for volunteers to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. MTS needs assistance with directing patrons to parking areas and providing guidance to those who may need help getting from the drop-off curb to the theater entrance while their drivers park.
If you are available to lend a hand, we would greatly appreciate it if you could arrive at Jackson Theater by 2:30 PM. Your early presence will be a tremendous help in preparing for the concertgoers' arrival.
As a thank you for your time, volunteers are welcome to stay and enjoy the concert! The Symphony will be setting up additional seating at the back of the auditorium for our volunteers.
We hope this will be the beginning of a wonderful and ongoing collaboration between our club and the Mid Texas Symphony.
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please don't hesitate to Cathy Kirk at 405-830-5432. She will be at the theater starting at 2:30 PM.
Thank you for considering this important service opportunity!
Rotarian regards,
Sterling R. Schulze
